For many of us, the transitions in life can be stressful. You might be dealing with loss, a disappointment, or mourning the change in a relationship. You might be moving, starting a new job, or celebrating a significant birthday. Major and minor shifts are all life’s transitions.

Change is hard and sometimes you feel like you’re not ready to deal with these changes when they happen. Planned or unplanned; positive or sorrowful. When the changes seem overwhelming, it can lead to feeling stuck, powerless, alone and uncomfortable. Adjusting to life changes can create uncertainty and a make you feel lost on what to do next. Perpetually feeling stuck or uncertainty in moving through any life transition can contribute to anxiety and depression. Having someone to talk to about these changes, the feelings they are evoke and the difficulty in moving through them can be helpful in taking the next step right for you.

Working with our therapists, you’ll learn important coping skills, learn about yourself and how you interact with the world and others, and experience personal growth. Some of the common modalities used in treating anxiety include Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Acceptation and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Polyvagal Therapy, Group Therapy. Not all these modalities are utilized at Total Wellness 365.
