What should I expect as a client in therapy?

There are a number of steps that take place as you begin the individual therapy process. The first step is completing an assessment. Assessments help pinpoint symptoms (your reason for coming), guide the diagnosis (if required by insurance) and treatment planning process. Assessment also inform the decision-making collaboration and aid in tracking individual progress.
