Statement of Ethics

What Ethical standards are followed?

We adhere to rules and laws of the State Boards by whom we are licensed. We are licensed by the state of Ohio Counselor, Social Worker and Marriage and Family Therapist (CSWMFT) Board. Sarah is additionally licensed by the Kentucky Board of Licensure for Professional Counselors (LPC).

Additionally, we subscribe and adhere to the codes of ethics set forth by the American Counseling Association (ACA).

Individual therapist may belong to other associations or groups that outline specific ethical standards.

Our Commitment

We commit to providing ethical and professional services to all clients, agencies and individuals. We will uphold the ethics of the Boards and Associations to which we ascribe. we will do so by advocating for all clients, being inclusive and sensitive to cultural and lifestyle diversity.

We will foster client autonomy, honor commitments to clients and the community, advocate for social justice, protect both clients and community from harm. We will do so with veracity, fidelity and integrity.
